Located in Ram Niwas Garden , Albert Hall is the oldest museum in Rajasthan and was opened to the public in 1887. Its foundation stone was laid in 1876 during the visit of Albert Edward, the Prince of Wales , and the building was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob with Mir Tujumool Hoosein. For an artist and photographer, however, Albert Hall is more than a historical building.
